Frazer has five and a half years experience in the field of
marine ecology, and has a particular interest in the ways in which science
can be used to make rational decisions regarding the management of the
marine environment.
Since joining MESL Frazer has been involved in the sample
collection, separation, identification and enumeration of fauna for
numerous intertidal and subtidal projects around the UK. He also
participates in the National Marine Biological Analytical Quality Control
(NMBACQ Scheme), which assesses the accuracy of taxonomic identification of
invertebrates. Frazer has a thorough working knowledge of analytical
software packages such as SPSS and PRIMER.
